Tottenham’s record signing Sandro Tonali has revealed how Roberto De Zerbi felt during the club’s early-season struggles. Sandro Tonali looks to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of Tottenham Hotspur’s training and bonding exercise in Marbella, Spain.
The midfielder has looked like a man reborn, putting in two solid performances – bossing the midfield first in the game against Coventry and then more recently in the clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Tonali’s underlying numbers highlight his improvement, showing him as a smooth operator with the ball while also covering significant ground on the pitch. Spurs Web described the Italian’s outing against Coventry as his best yet in our match ratings, but within days that was topped by his display against Chelsea.
