Kounde Links Cool As Barcelona Defender Stays Firmly Put For Now

Our Take On Why Jules Kounde Is Not A Realistic Liverpool Target Right Now Transfer links involving established international defenders at major clubs tend to generate a lot more noise than genuine movement, and the latest reports linking Liverpool with Jules Kounde look like exactly that kind of story.

According to the journalist Ekrem Konur , Liverpool have made enquiries about the Barcelona defender, but the player himself has already shown little appetite for a move away from Spain.

Konur’s reporting suggests Kounde turned down the idea quickly, with his stance described as wanting to fight for his place under Hansi Flick rather than look for an exit because his role has become less secure than it once was.
