Werder Bremen’s remarkable transformation under Daniel Thioune continued with a convincing 2-0 home victory over Hoffenheim, extending their unbeaten Bundesliga run to seven matches and providing further evidence that the club is moving in the right direction.
After spending much of last season battling against relegation, Bremen are now playing with confidence, determination and a clear tactical identity. What initially appeared to be a campaign focused on avoiding another relegation battle is gradually developing into something considerably more exciting.
Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Bremen’s recent form is their ability to win matches in different ways. Their dramatic comeback against Augsburg demonstrated resilience, while the draw against Borussia Dortmund showed they could compete with stronger opposition.
