Tottenham Hotspur teenager Archie Gray has admitted that breaking down 10-man Crystal Palace on Saturday was tougher than it looked from the stands. Even so, the versatile youngster loved scoring the opening goal to help Spurs claim a third straight league win.

Most fans inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expected an easy night once Crystal Palace lost Jean Philippe Mateta to an early red card. Out on the grass, however, that dismissal created a tricky puzzle for the hosts.

With Palace dropping everyone behind the ball, space in the box vanished right away. Speaking to Tottenham Hotspur media, Archie Gray admitted the red card made the job harder.
