The 28-year-old wanted to move to Anfield during the summer and Liverpool saw a £50million offer rejected late in the window. Palace are now trying to remove further uncertainty by opening talks over a new contract, although Sarr’s long-term future still appears far from completely settled.
According to Football Insider, Palace are reluctant to entertain January offers and have made positive progress in talks over improved terms. Sarr is still under contract until 2029, so Palace are already in a strong negotiating position.
