From the source
Liverpool are reportedly prioritising signing AS Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara, as per transfer journalist Florian Plettenberg. After being impressed by the 22-year-old’s performances for Metz, the Red and Whites decided to purchase him a couple of years ago, and he has now established himself as an undisputed starter.
Last season, he made seven goal contributions in 31 appearances across all competitions. Having proven his worth in club football, Camara has secured his place in the Senegal national team’s starting line-up.
After being impressed by his performances, Chelsea attempted to buy him last summer to replace Enzo Fernandez. However, Monaco ultimately blocked the transfer. This season, Camara has continued to display promising performances, scoring twice and registering a solitary assist in 12 appearances in all tournaments.
