From the source

An up-and-coming member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has committed his immediate future to the club. This comes amid confirmation of Iker Rodríguez putting pen to paper on a new contract.

Rodríguez, for those not familiar with his name, is an 18-year-old goalkeeper, held in hugely high regard behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital. The starlet is currently plying his trade with Barca Atlètic, but is considered a potential future first-team star in the making.

In fact, Rodríguez has already trained with Hansi Flick’s senior squad on several occasions, as well as taking his place on the bench on matchday in La Liga.
