Liverpool had the chance to agree a £60m transfer in the summer but in the end, they didn't even entertain it. Rio Ngumoha was wanted by Bayern Munich and the German giants put in an offer. Or at least, they were willing to. They backed away once is was made abundantly clear that Liverpool wouldn't be agreeing any deals for the teenager - the Reds wanted everyone to know it would be a waste of time. Because that's how highly Liverpool rate Ngumoha. Of course, everyone expected him to do that, hence the bid from Bayern, but Andoni Iraola has worked some magic in getting Ngumoha to produce it from the right.Read original report ↗
