Diego Moreira’s first experience of the Derby della Madonnina was a positive one, thanks to a stunning performance from AC Milan’s summer signing. Three goals on your derby debut is enough to enter your name into folklore.
His first appearance for Milan led to questions about the signing of Moreira. Yet, he’s silenced them almost every week since, with this weekend’s performance bringing up new questions.
Questions about his quality are being asked again, and it’s still about the money spent, with that €50 million price tag looking rather low. However, it’s worth noting that he’s already closer to getting Strasbourg another few million.
