From the source

Markus Krösche's future appears to be increasingly heading towards AC Milan. The former Eintracht Frankfurt executive, who resigned on 18 October but remains under contract until 2028, is the leading candidate for the Rossoneri's Head of Football role.

According to what has been reported by those at Sky Sport DE , however, releasing him before the summer of 2027 will require compensation of between €5 million and €7 million, unless the Rossoneri club and Eintracht Frankfurt reach a different type of agreement.

The possibility is that Krösche could begin his new role as early as 1 January 2027, coinciding with the opening of the winter transfer window, as relayed via the Italy-based website Milan News today.
