From the source

Real Madrid are increasingly confident of landing JJ Gabriel, with BBC Sport reporting that a verbal agreement has been reached with the Manchester United teenager and his representatives.

The 16-year-old remains registered with United, yet the direction of travel now points firmly towards Spain ahead of a potential January move. Gabriel has not returned to United since leaving in September, having been widely tipped for a rapid breakthrough into senior football.

He featured against Atletico Madrid on the club’s pre-season tour and had been expected to become United’s youngest debutant in the Carabao Cup meeting with Brighton.
