Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has revealed that he intends to afford a leading member of his midfield ranks a rest in the club’s next outing.

The Blancos star in question? French international Tchouaméni was for his part in from the off for the latest occasion this evening, as Real Madrid made the trip to Santander for a La Liga meeting with Racing.

When all was said and done, the visitors emerged on the right side of a 3-0 result, keeping alive what has been an impressive recent resurgence.
