Despite his soft spot for Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs target Alex Scott is looking increasingly likely to end up joining the Lilywhites’ rivals. Spurs made a couple of big additions to their midfield in the summer, paying a combined £185m for Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.
After a difficult start to life at N17, the Italian and the Portuguese stars are coming into their own, and they delivered a statement performance as a pair at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
It has been suggested by some outlets that Spurs could also look to add Scott to their expensive midfield, with the 23-year-old having developed into one of the most talented number eights in the Premier League over the last 12 months.
