Barcelona star Raphinha made a beeline for Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham in the aftermath of Sunday’s El Clásico. This came to both calm tensions, and congratulate the Englishman on a fine performance.
The latest edition of Spanish football’s most high-profile fixture was of course played to completion a short time ago. When all was said and done at the Spotify Camp Nou, it was visitors Real Madrid who emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result, to close the gap atop the La Liga table to three points.
Kylian Mbappé proved himself the star of the show, notching both goals for José Mourinho’s Blancos in Catalunya. The aforementioned Jude Bellingham was also firmly in the conversation for Man of the Match, though, excelling both in and out of possession across the 90 minutes.
