From the source

Boubacar Kamara will need to be refreshed and ready to go when Aston Villa take on Fulham. Villa welcome the Cottagers to Villa Park on Saturday evening in an important Premier League clash.

It's a must-win game for the Villains if they're to show the rest of the division they're a serious European contender again this term. Unai Emery named Kamara as an unused substitute in the 3-0 midweek defeat to Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup.

On the surface, that looked to have been a decision inspired solely by Emery's desire to protect one of his best players. However, look slightly deeper, and it becomes clear that there was considerably more to this decision than meets the eye.
