From the source

In Saturday night’s match against Borussia Dortmund, three Bayern pros were injured. The diagnoses for Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry are now in. Saibari was injured early in the game during a tackle with BVB goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.

The Moroccan forward severely twisted his ankle, had to be helped off the field, and was unable to put weight on his foot. He later left the Allianz Arena on crutches.

Based on this information alone, it was already clear that the new signing from PSV Eindhoven would be sidelined for an extended period. To make matters worse, Serge Gnabry also had to leave the field due to injury just a few minutes later; he was clutching his thigh.
