From the source

Villarreal defender Alex Freeman is attracting interest from Premier League clubs including Spurs, Manchester United, and Manchester City. The right-back has caught the eye of Premier League clubs during a strong start to the season in Spain.

Freeman has earned a regular role in the Villarreal side and has shone in La Liga, ranking second among league’s top full-backs for aerial duels won, duels won, and progressive passes completed per 90 minutes.

Freeman’s performances follow an impressive World Cup campaign with co-hosts USA, and has put English clubs on alert, according to Football Insider. Spurs and both Manchester clubs have checked in on the 22-year-old, with the former considering options to replace Djed Spence, who joined Inter Milan in the summer.
