Sporting CP are unwilling to lower their asking price.
Catamo is a versatile player who can operate on either flank and centrally as a No.10, known for his creativity, crossing ability, and tenacity. However, Tottenham already have similar players in Savio, Mohammed Kudus, and Dejan Kulusevski. Unless one of them leaves, signing Catamo for €60 million may not be justified.
Several Premier League clubs, including Leeds United, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Everton, and Brentford, are monitoring Catamo, along with Serie A clubs AC Milan and FC Como. Sporting CP are in a strong negotiating position due to Catamo's release clause and are only willing to sell if the full amount is paid.

Source context
Tottenham Hotspur have shown signs of overcoming their difficult start to the campaign with back-to-back Premier League wins. Victories over Coventry City and Chelsea have lifted the Lilywhites out of the drop zone. Yet, there remain problems at the top end of the pitch. Roberto De Zerbi was backed heavily during the summer transfer window, as Spurs brought in 10 new players. Three of those joining the club were attackers in the form of Savio, Omar Marmoush and Mykhailo Mudryk. Marmoush is only one of them with a goal contribution in the Premier League this term.
