At FC Bayern, success and frustration are currently surprisingly close together. The Munich team has yet to lose a competitive match this season and remains one of the strongest teams in Europe.
Nevertheless, the recent 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund leaves a bitter aftertaste. That’s because the record champions are not only struggling with a growing list of injuries but also, increasingly, with their own inability to convert chances.
Bayern really should have won this Bundesliga classic. The team, led by interim coach Aaron Danks, created numerous chances and was the more dangerous side for long stretches of the game.
