Aston Villa now turn their attention back to the Premier League after their bruising Carabao Cup defeat to AFC Bournemouth during the week. Unai Emery's men conceded three and struggled for the first time in a good few weeks.
Villa have been in superb form of late, Emery's men had won six of their last seven before that game, and they will want to get back to their best here against a struggling Fulham side.
Emery said after that defeat: "This is a match we have lost, but I can't tell my players anything because I think they made an effort and they played the plan we set up.
