Though Bayern Munich hosted the Champions League final just last year in 2025, at the time of writing, the club endeavored to do so again in very little time.
The Bavarians had aimed to reach the final of the competition, but by the time the 2024/25 season came around, they were merely in the first season of a rebuilding project under Vincent Kompany and fell at the quarterfinal stage to Inter Milan.
The Bavarians and the Allianz Arena are now the confirmed hosts of the 2028 Champions League final and currently look in a better position to win the competition by 2028 than was the case in 2025.
