As a result, Lucas Bergvall has faced an uphill task in getting into Roberto De Zerbi’s first XI. Currently injured, though, the 20-year-old has made only four Premier League appearances, clocking less than 150 minutes of action.
Despite only penning a new deal in September, speculation over the Swedish international’s future at Spurs has persisted. Barcelona have reportedly renewed their interest in the central midfielder after missing out on his services to Tottenham in February 2024.
