Barcelona are preparing a long-term contract offer for teenage defender Hafiz Gariba, hoping to tie him down to the club until the summer of 2031, reports SPORT.

The 19-year-old centre-back has made significant progress since joining La Masia more than 18 months ago, and the Blaugrana are intent on ensuring that his long-term development continues at the club.

Signed from the Marcet Foundation in February 2025, Gariba is held in very high regard within Barcelona. The 19-year-old Ghanaian defensive prodigy has already made substantial progress, moving from the youth teams to being called up to train with Hansi Flick’s first-team squad on multiple occasions.
