From the source

Borussia Dortmund turn their attention towards the DFB-Pokal tomorrow as Werder Bremen visit Signal Iduna Park for their clash in the second round of the competition.

This marks their ninth tie in the domestic cup and a first since 2020. The first official clash between the sides came in the German Cup, which was called Tschammerpokal back in 1937.

It was roller-coaster game with Bremen going in front, only for BVB to fight back and then fall behind again, before scoring the equalizer followed by the winner in extra-time.
