From the source

Napoli are set to get busy in several roles in January and could bring in a new defender after failing to do so last summer, but they haven’t pivoted away from their previous targets, Oumar Solet and Federico Gatti, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

The Frenchman was supposed to join Inter last summer, but the buyers didn’t like what they saw from his medicals. They eventually put John Stones under contract instead.

He didn’t transfer at all, and his start to the season hasn’t been particularly great, amid his club’s struggles. He has a manageable price tag for top-team standards.
