Christian Ziege has been talking about Nick Woltemade and Matthias Jaissle. The former Bayern Munich and Germany defender looking ahead to what could be possible at Newcastle United.

Nick Woltemade had an up and down first season with United in the Premier League and the three other competitions. A lot of the media going way over the top with criticism, as the inexperienced striker still scored 11 goals and got a number of assists across the 2025-26 season.

The German international striker saw Eddie Howe leave in the close season and Matthias Jaissle arrive only 18 days before the 2026-27 season kicked off for NUFC.
