Tottenham Hotspur fans have been frustrated by Dominic Solanke’s struggles since his return from injury, and it has now been revealed whether Spurs have changed their mind about the striker.

Solanke has scored just one Premier League goal this season, with the centre-forward still looking some way short of his fittest and sharpest form. However, despite this, the Tottenham head coach, who has left Richarlison out of the club’s Premier League squad, has continued backing the English striker publicly.

After his equaliser at Old Trafford, De Zerbi even described Solanke as a ‘complete’ striker, suggesting that he may be the ideal option to lead the line in his system.
