AC Milan and Inter plan to build a new stadium to boost revenue, with a projected annual income of €120m, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The current San Siro stadium limits their revenue, with Inter and Milan recording €90m and €50m in stadium revenue, respectively, in their 2026 financial statements. In contrast, top European clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real Madrid generated €185m, €225m, and €363m, respectively. The new stadium aims to bridge this gap.
The new stadium is expected to generate €80.1m annually, with significant contributions from tours and museums (€18.1m), naming rights (€17.88m), and tourist visits (€12m). Corporate events and concerts are projected to bring in €11.4m, while other sponsorships, bars, restaurants, and commercial concessions are expected to add €9m, €5.2m, and €5.5m, respectively. Parking is estimated to generate €1m.
The total projected annual revenue of €120m also includes €40.3m from other commercial activities, such as leisure & entertainment (€23.2m), offices (€8.86m), and retail parking (€6.88m). The new stadium will increase hospitality seats from 3,000 to 13,000, with revenue expected to come from hospitality rather than individual tickets or season tickets. The Economic Feasibility Plan is expected to be released in early 2027.
