Source context
FIFPRO have revealed their 26-player shortlist for their Men’s World 11, after tallying up the votes from 19,806 professional footballers from 73 countries. The 26 players on the shortlist are those who received the most votes from their peers for their performances from August 2025 to July 2026. The 11 players with the most votes in their respective positions will then make the final team. That team will be revealed on Monday, November 9th at 16:00 GMT, with four Arsenal players in contention to feature in it. David Raya is one of just three goalkeepers to make the cut, competing with Thibaut Courtois and Emi Martinez. Funnily enough, recent Yashin Trophy winner Unai Simon didn’t make the cut on this occasion.
