Earlier report
Liverpool simply won't give up on an outrageous transfer. They're pushing for a truly historic deal - one unseen possibly ever. Liverpool are in the market for a new centre-back. They don’t really have a choice in that because they’re currently set to lose three of their five senior options. Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are both out of contract in the summer, and we’re not confident at all that they’ll sign new deals. Van Dijk feels more likely but he’ll be turning 36 - Liverpool don’t like dishing out big-money contracts to players over 30, let alone over 35.Read original report ↗
