Morgan Rogers took the headlines once again at the weekend, scoring Chelsea’s opening goal in their win over Manchester United. “I think it was one of those transfers in the summer, a little bit like Elliot Anderson, where we all went, ‘wow’.

The figure, what was it, £117m?,” the pundit said. Presenter David Jones jumped in to point out that was now looking a “bargain,” and Carragher agreed.
