From the source

Chelsea face an added challenge in Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United after Michael Carrick confirmed that Bruno Fernandes will remain captain following their recent disagreement.

The attacking midfielder is now expected to start at Stamford Bridge. Fernandes sparked controversy after publicly questioning Carrick’s tactics following Man Utd’s 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como last week.

He was subsequently dropped and remained an unused substitute as United lost 3-0 to Bournemouth on Sunday. However, Carrick has since held clear-the-air talks with his captain and insisted the matter has been resolved.
