Peter Schmeichel’s claim will strike a chord with Manchester United fans after the Red Devils were left licking their wounds against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Michael Carrick has seen Manchester United enter a nine-match winless streak in all competitions under his struggling permanent reign at Old Trafford this season. The Red Devils chalked up their latest setback at Stamford Bridge on Saturday after Chelsea inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Man Utd in their Premier League clash.

Morgan Rogers delivered the first blow for Michael Carrick after he broke the deadlock for Chelsea, while Cole Palmer doubled the Blues’ lead 14 minutes later.
