Daniel Sturridge appeared to enjoy Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United on Saturday afternoon. The former Blues striker posted several tweets throughout the game, praising two of the club’s emerging stars.

Morgan Rogers broke the deadlock with a superb goal, Romeo Lavia dominated the midfield battle and Mike Penders produced a stunning save to preserve his clean sheet.

However, Sturridge was particularly impressed by Estevao Willian and Josh Acheampong. Estevao and Josh Acheampong have had very different 2026/27 campaigns. Estevao had barely featured before the Man Utd game, despite Chelsea supporters singing his name from the stands in a clear message to Xabi Alonso.
