Liverpool are among the clubs keeping a close eye on Stuttgart defender Finn Jeltsch, with Sport reporting that Barcelona are actively considering the Germany youth international as they assess future options at centre-back.
The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the most closely watched young defenders in Europe. Barcelona’s sporting department, led by Deco, are said to value his profile highly, while Liverpool and Real Madrid have also been tracking his development since the early stages of the season.
Interest elsewhere is growing too, with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid also mentioned among the clubs aware of his progress. Jeltsch fits the modern mould. He is young, tactically flexible and already operating in a demanding structure at Stuttgart, a side playing Champions League football and asking plenty of their defenders both in and out of possession.
