Chelsea are preparing for a significant January decision on Jamie Gittens, with Roma, RB Leipzig, Eintracht Frankfurt and a number of Premier League clubs all tracking the winger’s situation closely.

According to TeamTalk, the 22-year-old is emerging as a genuine loan candidate as Chelsea look for the right route to revive his progress after a difficult opening to the season.

The broad position is clear. Chelsea are open to a temporary move, but they have not altered their long-term thinking on the player. The key line in the market is that the club “continue to see a future for the England international at Stamford Bridge.”
