Tottenham Hotspur’s stance on Lucas Bergvall’s future has come to light as interest grows across Europe in the Swedish international. Bergvall’s new contract in the summer has done little to dampen speculation that he may be on his way out of Spurs.
Spurs Web has relayed a number of reports over recent weeks revealing that Barcelona and Napoli are both eyeing the 20-year-old Tottenham man, amid reports that his new deal could contain a release clause.
The Catalan club have admired Bergvall for a long time, having gone toe-to-toe with Spurs to sign him from Djurgårdens back in 2024. However, reports coming out of North London over the last 48 hours suggest that De Zerbi’s men are relaxed about the midfielder’s future and believe he could become a mainstay in their starting eleven.
