From the source
Liverpool were denied what many felt was a clear penalty during their defeat against Arsenal on Sunday evening. The Reds did not do enough to get anything from the match at Anfield, failing to even have a shot on target throughout the 90 minutes.
Nevertheless, Liverpool were justified in their complaints that the referee cost them the chance of a point, after Andy Madeley failed to award a spot-kick for a blatant pull by Jurrien Timber.
Quite rightly, Virgil van Dijk was left absolutely fuming as he spoke to Sky Sports about the decision after the game. Because Isak did not go to ground following the tug from Timber, the incident went by fairly unnoticed at the time.
