Tottenham Hotspur may finally have an opportunity to sign an experienced centre-forward who has been on their radar for a long time. The big question on the minds of Spurs fans in the lead-up to the January window is which striker the club would bring in to solve their goalscoring woes.

Tottenham’s top summer striker target, Eli Junior Kroupi, is now back fit, but he will not come cheap, and the Frenchman could also be hard to get out of Bournemouth mid-season.

It has now emerged that the Lilywhites could be handed an opportunity to sign a 30-year-old, who has a proven track record of consistently finding the back of the net in the Premier League.
