Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of being able to lure Harry Kane back home in the future are still alive thanks to a clause in his Bayern Munich contract.
After months of speculation, the 33-year-old finally put pen to paper on a deal with Bayern on Thursday morning, thus bringing to an end the speculation over his future.
According to some sources, Kane is now the highest-paid player in Europe after committing himself to the Allianz Arena until 2029. The pay rise is certainly well deserved for the Ballon d’Or winner, but it comes as a blow for Spurs, who were keeping themselves informed of Kane’s situation all through the summer window.
