Aston Villa manager Unai Emery looks set to stay and sign a new contract at the club, and Jamie Carragher insists he’s glad he won’t be taking the Manchester United job.
Emery had been linked with the Red Devils, and Carragher attracted controversy for his comments insisting that the Spanish tactician would undoubtedly be leaving for a bigger club.
Villa were furious with Carragher’s comments and threatened legal action before he apologised, though he’s now written about it again in his latest column for the Telegraph.
