Bayern Munich assistant coach Aaron Danks has confirmed that Harry Kane will be available for Wednesday’s DFB-Pokal clash with 1. FC Magdeburg after winning the Ballon d’Or on Monday night.
“I haven’t heard from him yet. I watched the ceremony, of course. It’s fantastic for him," said Danks, who spoke to the media in Vincent Kompany’s continued absence following the head coach’s collapse last week.
“He’ll be back this afternoon with the other players to train, and he’ll be available tomorrow,” added the Bayern assistant. Providing a broader squad update, Danks confirmed that Manuel Neuer and Jamal Musiala remain unavailable for the clash with Magdeburg as they continue their recoveries from injury.
