From the source

Man Utd have already been denied in their pursuit of Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, it would appear. The Red Devils were linked with the England international on Thursday, with The Athletic reporting that a move in the January transfer window was “under consideration”.

United were said to be “exploring the market for centre forwards” this winter after it emerged that Benjamin Sesko’s shin injury will keep the striker sidelined for longer than expected, likely into the New Year.

The club, however, will have to look at alternative options in the transfer market as Leeds have already moved to tie their star attacker down.
