From the source

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni made some statements on the sidelines of the event 'Il Tempo dello Sport', at Bocconi University in Milan. The Rossoneri president spoke about the new San Siro and how much work has gone on behind the scenes to reach where we are today.

"I have dedicated six years of my life to promoting the new San Siro stadium. It has been a long and difficult process. As early as 2018, I was trying to explain that Milan needed a new stadium and that San Siro could not be renovated.

There are two teams playing every three days: how is it possible to do it? People would reply that they were too emotionally attached to it, and this way of thinking made my objective difficult, especially in politics, because it should listen to the citizens.
