On Tuesday evening, FC Bayern won 2-0 against Atlético in Madrid. The record champions thus celebrated a crucial victory in the Champions League. After four games, Bayern now has eight points, and the record champions can certainly dream of advancing directly to the Round of 16.
FCB is certainly capable of securing the necessary points from its last four matches. Given the team’s current personnel challenges, the victory in Madrid is all the more important.
Especially since Bayern didn’t allow many chances that evening at the Estadio Metropolitano and put on an outstanding performance. Aaron Danks, who continues to fill in for Vincent Kompany as Bayern’s coach, was equally pleased.
