Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez is a wanted man in Spain. Lisandro Martinez expressed his frustrations with Manchester United in an outspoken interview following a recent Champions League defeat.

While he has smoothed over tensions with the club’s hierarchy, his future remains in doubt. Martinez’s contract expires in June 2027. United have an option to extend this by 12 months, but it has not been activated.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona have added Martinez to their shortlist, identifying him as a ‘feasible’ signing. They are also monitoring Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol in case of a pending relegation, amid their financial charges.
