Marco Bizot had a moment to forget as Aston Villa were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Bournemouth. The Cherries ran out 3-0 victors in Wednesday's fourth-round tie at the Vitality Stadium.

Amine Adli, Lewis Cook, and Alvaro Rodriguez were all on target, as Unai Emery's side crashed out in disappointing fashion. It brought and end to some decent momentum built up in recent weeks, with Villa having won four straight matches prior to this game.

While Villa certainly have bigger priorities this season, you can't help but sense this was an opportunity missed. And goalkeeper Bizot certainly did not cover himself in glory with Bournemouth's second goal that left Villa up against it.
