Few Aston Villa players can hold their heads high from the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth. Unai Emery's side were comprehensively beaten at the Vitality Stadium, as their Carabao Cup journey comes to an end this season.
Amine Adli opened the scoring for the Cherries after just seven minutes, before Lewis Cook and Alvaro Rodriguez netted in the second half. Emery did field a rotated side in this one, but it was still a strong enough starting lineup to have contested a far more competitive game.
One of those who came into the side was Lamare Bogarde, with the 22-year-old replacing Matty Cash at right-back. However, the Dutchman won't have done himself any favours with Emery after his display on the south coast.
