Aston Villa were knocked out of the Carabao Cup fourth round after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Wednesday. The Villans were handed their first lost in eight games at the Vitality Stadium, with full focus now turning to the Premier League and Champions League.

Amine Adli fired into the roof of the net to give the hosts the lead early on, while Emi Buendia tried, but was unable to drag his side back on level terms before the break.

Things didn't get much better for Unai Emery's side in the second 45, as Marco Bizot was caught out at his near post after Lewis Cook's in-swinging cross found it's way into the back of the net.
