Eintracht Frankfurt restructure sporting department after Krösche's exit
Story updated
The story in brief
7-second readEintracht Frankfurt have reorganised responsibilities within the club’s sporting department following Markus Krösche’s departure, with Timmu Harding taking on increased responsibility until further notice.

From the source
Following Markus Krösche’s departure as board member for sport earlier this month, Eintracht Frankfurt have reshuffled responsibilities within their sporting department. With the club yet to appoint Krösche’s successor, sporting director Timmu Hardung will assume increased responsibility and work closely with CEO Axel Hellmann to improve efficiency across the department and oversee preparations for the winter transfer window.
As a result, Hardung will put his day-to-day duties involving the squad and coaching staff on hold. Former Eintracht player Sebastian Rode, who is currently completing a trainee programme at the club, will take on greater responsibility within the first-team setup.
“In this current period until the appointment of a new board member for sport, we want to consolidate responsibilities and improve the efficiency of work across the various departments," said club CEO Axel Hellmann.
